MIKE SCOTT: These are tracks, songs and mash-ups from my homestudio, where there's always something cooking. Some items feature The Waterboys. Some feature just me. Some are other stuff altogether. None of the music on my Soundcloud has been issued on an album - at least not in this form. And none of it has anything to do with the current major Waterboys projects (our show/subsequent album of An Appointment With Mr Yeats and beyond that the next all-new Waterboys album) - though that's not to say I won't post some material arising from those at some stage. For the present all the stuff here is esoteric extra music; some of it created for pre-show mixes, some of it for fun, exploration and mischief. You're welcome to upload any of the tracks to your own site or blogspot. And keep dropping by because new stuff is being added all the time.
